Dear Olaf,

We are back in Holland again for over two weeks now. Just wanted to let you know that we had a great holiday. Thanks to your services, we were able to put together a perfect program, with great hotels and lodges, with the right balance between enjoying the sunshine, swimming and other water sports, shopping and fabulous day trips with you to the small Bajau fisherman’s village, Mount Kinabalu, the waterfalls and for a day rafting.

The trip you organized for us to Sepilok Resort, Abai and Sukau was just fantastic! Never seen so much wildlife: elephants (twice), Orang Utans, macaces, proboscis monkeys, alligators, snakes, hornbill birds, king fishers, big lizards and many more. The guide travelling with us was a very nice young lady, with great knowledge about the wildlife and everything to be seen in the rain forest. The organization was perfect, everybody was at the right place at the right time, luggage was handled for us, two attached lodges always available for us and the children, food and drinks were great, every cruise brought exiting news views and lots of wildlife often real close.

One suggestion: you said there are no leaches in Sepilok. Well, two of us had ” close encounters” with them during a night walk we arranged directly with a ranger in the forest (your advice). Suggest you ask “Granny” to make a few extra anti-leach socks. Must be a huge market down in Sepilok.
